Shipping, Returns & Exchanges

Shipping:

BC:
$15 flat rate
FREE SHIPPING on orders over $150

AB/SK/MB:
$20 flat rate
FREE SHIPPING on orders over $200
 
The rest of Canada:
$25 Flat rate

Shipping times CANNOT be guaranteed. Orders may be placed at anytime but we will not accept returns for shipments that do not arrive on time. 

Some items are not available for shipping and will be indicated in the product description.

Some large or heavy orders incur more shipping fees in excess of the flat rate. The customer will be notified and consulted regarding further payment before processing the order. 

Once your order has shipped we will send you an email with tracking information. All shipments are insured (for damages) up to $100.

Shipping fees are non-refundable.

*Please provide accurate shipping details! We are not responsible for undeliverable shipments due to incomplete or incorrect shipping details.

Returns and Exchanges:

We love our toys and hope you do too! If for whatever reason you are unhappy with your order, you may return or exchange unopened items within 30 of purchase. You’ll need to provide the receipt or proof of purchase. Returns are accepted in person at the store or through courier for online orders (customer responsible for return shipping). To start the return process for an online order, please contact us at hello@villagetoyshop.ca.

No refund or exchange on PLUSH or CLEARANCE items. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on gift cards or shipping fees.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. 

For damaged or defective items please provide an image along with your request for refund. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

For issues with Playmobil or LEGO please contact the manufacturer directly.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
